  LYNS Networking Digital Signage (IP Enabled)

A data network platform uses a computer network infrastructure in order to transmit content in the form of compressed multimedia files (such as MPEG files) from the management station to the central server and from there to the computer connected to the display device. The central server handles distribution to multiple displays, and the display-end computer decompresses the file for display on the display device. Alternatively, if only one display is required, the network can transmit the compressed file directly from the management station to the display-end computer, which then decompresses and displays the file.

Like other forms of out-of-home and place-based media, these displays function much like traditional billboards, POP displays and transit advertising. In brief, the digital media network uses a series of small or large displays to attract the attention of consumers outside the home.

Networking Digital Signage receives multimedia content through IP network. It can play the content directly or stores it on embedded hard disk or CF card. You can play the content according to a pre-defined play list or Network command.

Lyns’ LCD displays can be configured using a wide range of video connections and selectable signal sources, including analog, digital, and composite. Both color and black and white signaling are supported, also the displays are compatible with NTSC/PAL/SECAM and PC protocols.
